Then when we connect on the phone we will explore all of these matters, create your custom itinerary and then secure your Photo Tour dates.

I Shoot More On The Private Photo Tour
Unlike the regular Photo Tour in which I mostly shoot with photographers’ cameras, on the Private Photo Tour I also shoot with my camera. This allows you to see exactly how I compose and shoot in a wide variety of scenarios as photographers have found it instructive observing how I use my gear, especially working with a tripod.
You will pretty much get to watch and hear me think through my photography as I decide what to shoot and how to shoot it. You will also observe that I shoot very slowly and do not take a great deal of pictures. For while your average flash card has room for thousands of images I believe it best to operate like a sniper and make one shot one kill rather than placing your camera on rapid fire and still missing the shot. And who wants to have to weed through a ton of bad pictures searching for a good one anyhow?

The Highlight of My St. Lucia Experience
I spent some time researching options for excursions prior to our family vacation in St. Lucia. I am an advanced amateur photographer; my older son not far behind, and my younger son a novice. After reading reviews of Kirk’s photo tour, I thought we might all benefit from his experience and expertise while counting on his knowledge of the local sites. We were not disappointed. We started the day with an excellent lecture on the basics of photography followed by some exercises in subject, lighting, and composition, all the time having Kirk both teaching and giving his critique of our efforts. We enjoyed some local fare for lunch, and were briefed on local history while traveling between shooting destinations. Everyone got some once in a lifetime shots, and we all had a great day out. Kirk is the penultimate professional; high energy, congenial, and extremely knowledgeable in his field; so much so that I engaged him for a second day, one-on-one, and we traveled the island over the course of 8 hours during which I got some of the best photos I’ve ever taken on vacation. Comeraderie, and Camera-aderie both! Highly recommended; group or private. So happy to have met Kirk, and hope to cross his path again in the future. Money and time well spent!Lonny M

Great Day Out For Me & Baby Whilst Hubby Focused on Learning To Take The Perfect Picture
I booked a private tour with Kirk as a surprise birthday present for my husband who dreams of taking the perfect picture. I went along with our 7 month old baby to enjoy the day out and see more of the island and I’m so glad that I did! My husband had a wonderful day indulging in his hobby whilst baby and I relaxed, explored new sights and enjoyed chatting with Kirk about the Island and his adventures.
